Your name is TAVROS NITRAM and you think you're about 18 years old by human standards, but you aren't so sure about them funny human sweeps.

You live in a small trailer in a trailer park in South Carolina. You live by yourself because you ACCIDENTALLY KILLED YOUR LUSUS. You don't like to talk about it.

The Egbert family's been awful nice to you, letting you work there as a FARM-HAND. You do lots of ODD JOBS around the trailer park, too, when you can find them.

You like to KEEP ANIMALS in your trailer with you- raccoons and squirrels and cats and, really, any other creatures that come wandering by looking like they could use a place to be. This causes some problems, especially with KARKAT, who doesn't especially like your animals. It used to cause problems with MR. STRIDER, but he isn't exactly around anymore.

The only animal who's a permanent resident of your trailer is a raccoon you went ahead and named Tink. You're often waking him from naps and he's often unimpressed with you, but he stays nonetheless! He likes to cuddle up to you at night, too. You love him like he's family. All your other animal friends are free to come and go as they please.

You open the door to your trailer and look around for a moment, expecting to see a person. Instead, you see a neatly wrapped box!

You pick it up and briefly look around for its owner, or whoever left it here.

Seeing nobody in plain sight, you look at the box.

You’re surprised to see your name written in black letters on a tag on the box!

You smile, then call a ‘thank you’ to the lovely person who left you the gift, hoping they’re still in the area to hear it.

When you get back into your trailer, you open up the box and show the animal chow to Tink, who seems quite thrilled about it, and is chattering up a storm, waiting for you to give him some. You try on the work gloves and each shirt, showing them off to the raccoon as you do. Then, you set a bowl of the food down on the dining table and sit with Tink as he eats. When he’s done, he nuzzles his face against yours and you pet him a while, glad for your anonymous gift-giver.

Most of your animal friends seem to have gone on their way while you were gone for so long! You still have Tink, of course, as well as a little gray stray cat you came across on your way home and a raccoon that’s a lighter color of brown than Tink. You haven’t named either of your new friends, and you aren’t sure if you want to. You will have to think on this a little bit.

You think about it a moment, then grab Tink from where he’s napping. He doesn’t seem to like this. He’s still adorable, though.

You haven’t been gone for that long.

Okay, maybe you have.

You may have gone on a FLARP quest and gotten your horns stuck between tree branches. You may have been stuck for more than a month. You had a hard time getting your horns out, but you eventually did. Really, you were sort of being lazy with it and you didn’t try all that hard to get out, but it was starting to get cold.

So, you’re back now!

You’re sure all of your friends have been getting into crazy shenanigans while you were gone, but you’re also sure that you’ll get all caught up with what’s happened.

In the meantime, though, you’re sitting in your trailer and giving Tink some love, since he’s been on his own for a little while.

What will you do?
